Bad Table Surreal Furniture of Straight Line Designs

The artists over at Straight Line Designs have been creating over the top surreal furniture pieces for almost three decades. When you combine the creative types and encourage the kind of out-of-the-box thinking that these Vancouver artists do– you’re bound to get some interesting results.
For instance, “Bad Table” by Judson Beaumont and his collaborative team of 8 just so happens to be a coffee table (an inappropriate one at that) with a mind of its own. With a focus on public institutions and custom works, you can tell that there is a whole lot of thought put into the construction, materials and whimsical life-like quality of their pieces. The Bad Table is constructed from Maple wood and Maple veneer, with an Aluminium ‘stream.’
